EyeToSeat

How to measure

Application

Used in vehicle mirror, instrument cluster, and display positioning to locate controls relative to the seated eye point.

Posture

Sit upright in your normal seated position, eyes level.

Landmark

Measured vertically from the outer corner of the eye to the seat surface.

Tool

Tape measure.

Assistance

A second person should mark the eye height on a wall and measure down to the seat level.

Common mistake

Slouching lowers the eye position and reduces the result. Sit fully upright.
